To appropriately represent Stephen Sondheim’s musical masterpiece, ASSASSINS, it was decided we needed to be unapologetic in our approach to the violent nature of the musical’s content.

As a lead up to the production’s opening night, social media posts and physical posters featuring quotes and images of each of the (at the time) nine Presidential assassins were distributed.

Rapid City is known as “The City of Presidents.” So, to have these posters flood the streets of Downtown Rapid City was quite a shocking site to behold.
